Welcome to escritr, where we pride ourselves on a thorough, consistent, and personal approach to all things writing. Whether you're a student, a playwright, or a marketing manager, there is something for you here. I know that picking through your written work looking for errors and consistency can be a tiring and tedious process. Especially when you have already poured so much effort into it! That's why my aim is to take that extra work off of your hands and help you to push your hard work to the best standard it can be.
Who we are
escritr was started by me, George Lewis Warwick, in 2024. As an actor and writer myself, I understand the importance of our literary and presentational work representing the best of our abilities. Too often does good work get overlooked due to issues with grammar, aesthetics, and readability. These days, many people turn to AI to quickly resolve these issues. Unfortunately, much of the time AI struggles to take into account the human side of our work, omitting personal touches. That's why my goal isn't to just correct any errors I may find, but to work with you to enhance your work to be the best it can be.
I have also been an English as a Second Language (ESL/TEFL) tutor since I was 17. Languages have always been an interest to me, and teaching over the years has become a passion of mine. I strive to create a fun and personalised learning environment to give students the best chance of achieving their English goals.

Proofreading
Have your written work thoroughly checked and rectified for grammatical errors or formatting issues.
Copy Editing
Ensure your written work is to its best standard with a copyedit. This will check your writing for good consistency, accuracy, and relevance. It will also highlight any issues with flow or readability. For presentations, websites, and advertising materials, a copy edit will also check the aesthetic of your work.
Transcribing
Put your recorded work into words with transcribing. Whether it's a podcast or a video, transcription will accurately write the text for you.
